I have no idea where this image is coming from, but every time I think of it, I see Arthur as Mike's older brother. What I would like is a fic where after the whole Inception job, Arthur takes off to New York to spend time with his grandmother (and to pay her bills. He's pretty much loaded now thanks to Saito) and Mike. He also has an guest in Eames, whom he can't decide whether or not to throttle have the time...despite the fact they'd been lovers for a little over a year now. And Mike is ecstatic, wanting to show off to the one person who never let him down (I really don't see Mike telling Arthur about Trevor or doing drugs because he'd be afraid of disappointing him). He takes Arthur and Eames to Pearson Harden, introduces him to everyone, and is quite frankly surprised when Arthur and Harvey are cordial to each other. They even bond over their wardrobe. He's not surprised though that Arthur can't stand Louis and has no problems verbally putting the man in his place. Eames flirts with everyone, Jessica and Donna included, but everyone can tell the forget is completely loyal to Arthur, no matter what. And by the end of the visit, Arthur gives Harvey the Big Brother speech, because of course he noticed that Harvey and Mike are in a relationship, did they really think they could hide it from him? He is, after all, Eames's lover and Eames has no problems reading people due to be a forger. Of course, if the author's bunnies take them in a whole different direction, feel free! I just really want Arthur and Eames interacting with Mike and Harvey.

oh i should stay so far away from this, but maybe it's just right. you have no idea how sorry i am that you know that there is no kind of magic out there to deal with shit like that. i know too, so i will fill this for you. it will take me a while, no doubt, because it's going to be painful, but hey ... therapy it is. (please excuse the first paragraph, i wanted to make it as canon!compatible as possible, so there is that weird explanation for why Mike has been with jenny/rachel)

Harvey and Mike finally get together, and everything is great right up until they're about to have sex. Mike gets all jittery and shaky and starts to either freak out/check out. Harvey picks up on it and stops. He can tell something's wrong but he doesn't know what. He tells Mike they can stop, and at first Mike tries to convince himself and Harvey that everything's fine and he can keep going (because he wants this, and also maybe he's a little scared that the infamously sexual Harvey won't want him if he can't seal the deal). Finally it becomes apparent that Mike can't go through with it and Harvey puts his foot down and stops what they're doing. Mike's all ashamed and distraught and angry at himself. Harvey gently pushes him to talk to him and tell him what's going on. Eventually Mike admits that he's got some sort of sexual trauma in his past, but he's vague about it. Harvey is awesome and understanding and reassures Mike that they can take things slow and Mike can set the pace. What I'd really love is Harvey being awesome and totally cool with taking things slow, and also protective and caring of Mike. I'd love Mike to slowly feel comfortable in telling Harvey about whatever happened to him and gradually getting more comfortable with the physical aspect of their relationship. Author can pick the trauma (childhood sexual abuse, rape in college, etc - just nothing terribly recent so that Mike has at least worked through the initial immediate trauma stage). What I DON'T want is the Magical Healing Penis fic, where Mike tearfully reveals his trauma and then Harvey fucks the PTSD out of him and sex is wonderful and free of triggers from that day forward. Speaking from experience, it unfortunately doesn't work that way. I'd like to see a gradual advancement with Mike's comfort level, but maybe little set-backs every once and a while. It would ROCK if Harvey basically lets Mike take total control of what they do in bed so that Mike guides the pace and feels safe. IDEK. I just want fic dealing with PTSD!Mike and the realities of trying to have a relationship with the big nasty cloud of past sexual trauma hanging over your head, and awesome!Harvey being unexpectedly great about the whole thing. Sorry, long, detailed prompt is long and detailed.

I recently read a fill by sammademedoit (which was fantastic) and there was a line in the story that got me thinking: "It’s like you didn’t get enough hugs as a child or something,” Mike grumbles" and of course my imagination went into overdrive. How about a story that explains a little bit as to why Harvey is so focused, demanding/commanding and seeking respect? What if Harvey had been abused as a child and was told he would be nothing, hence the focus and drive to be all that he can be. Bonus if while Mike and Harvey are intimate, Mike sees scars on Harvey's back and knows instantly it's from being whipped or caned or whatever as a child. Rooms for tons of angst, hurt/comfort and character study! I would be VERY grateful for this story and happy to send tons of virtual cookies, cake and pie! Everybody loves pie!
