When the boys happen upon a powerless Lucifer with no explanation, what are the hunters and their rebellious angel to do? Lucifer may be powerless but he's still Lucifer. And that's only a boatload of trouble. Right? AU as of about midway through "Abandon All Hope..." Notes: This whole thing started out as fandom ramblings on Tumblr and somehow spawned itself into a full-blow fic. My friend, InsaneBlueGenius, and myself have taken it upon ourselves to turn our half sentences and hashtags into a comprehensive story. A multi-chapter one at that. We hope you enjoy the ride as much as we have. This story starts right after they meet Crowley and get The Colt back in Abandon All Hope (November 2009). Before they can start hunting him to try and kill him with The Colt, he appears on their doorstep Powerless.

I in angel with a shotgun series. It’s moments like these that he feels utterly at peace, despite everything. Notes: A few small discrepancies — i – I know Lucifer isn’t the youngest of the four archangels, but, for convenience’s sake (and for the sake of adorable stories), he is in this. ii – Nick is a lot more prominent than should probably be allowed, but I can’t help it; I just adore him. iii – The subjects of graces and souls is used a lot, a lot more than I’d originally intended, actually, but I think it makes sense. iv – This is a lot more samifer than it is destiel. That said, there is more than enough to make destiel a main pairing, but still. (See the end of the work for more notes)

Some problems, only telepaths ever have. - In which Charles falls in love with Erik whilst falling overboard, misreads Erik's mind once, and is far more respectful of Erik's mental privacy than anyone else realizes in the aftermath. (Or: In which months of sexual tension occur because the boys are idiots.) Notes: So, this....I have no excuse for this. This started off as my explanation of why Charles suddenly becomes socially inept when he can't/won't read someone's mind, and turned into a 10k fix-it lovesong to Erik Lensherr that still isn't finished. At this point, I'm giving up pretending this fic isn't eating my soul and just posting it. A thousand thanks go, as ever, to my long suffering-beta, who, despite not being in this fandom, listened to the ridiculously long rant that kicked this off, and read over all the ensuing fic.
