Modern-Day High School AU. It’s not until Hank realises half the class are glancing towards the back of the classroom with something like nerves and something like schadenfreude that he finds out Alex Summers is back. Notes: Basically everyone’s got mental health problems in this and I think at least 20k of it was produced under antidepressant-induced mania last summer. Experimenting with writing styles so five different POVs. I’ve deliberately fucked with ages and friendships and familial relationships for both the movies and the comics. Other than that... this is stupidly long, and a bit ridiculous, and I’m really sorry (all I wanted was to write a cracky fic where Emma and Hank were BFFs. Whyyyyy etc).
