Dean finally lets himself be who he has always been, exposing a wounded self long buried. Castiel suffers a trauma appalling to his sense of self and autonomy. Sam struggles to learn the ways in which he is blind. Gabriel does his best to save them all. Notes: Look in My Tormented Eye takes place in Season 4, between 4x16 and 4x18. In the Dark Mirror of My Eyes takes place between 4x21 and 4x22. Beware the Trojan Horse takes place between 5x01 and 5x02. Due to the timing, and the introduction of Gabriel in canon, this has since become AU.
